Leather products require specific care to maintain their properties and appearance over a long period. Regular cleaning, care, and protection are essential for preserving the beauty and functionality of leather products. Using appropriate products and accessories ensures that both the smartphone case and leather goods look elegant and serve you for years.
NUBUCK & VELOUR
First, remove loose dirt and dust with a soft brush for suede/nubuck leather. For stains, special erasers for nubuck can be used, or the stains can be gently cleaned with a damp cloth and some leather soap. To protect this leather, wax balms should be used to further protect it from moisture and dirt.
SMOOTH LEATHER
Clean the material first with a damp cloth and some mild leather soap, then wipe it dry. To care for the leather, leather balms can be used to maintain its elasticity and prevent cracking. This type of leather should be treated with protective, colorless creams or waxes.
PRINTED LEATHER (FOILED)
This leather should be gently cleaned with a damp cloth without the addition of cleaning agents, as these could damage the applied decorative foil. To care for it, do not use greasy impregnation agents in the form of creams or pastes, as the decorative foil cannot absorb these, and a greasy film will form on the surface. Instead, we recommend light spray impregnation agents based on lacquer.
SPLIT LEATHER
Regularly wipe the leather with a damp cloth and some mild leather soap. To care for the material, use balms in small quantities. This leather should also be additionally protected with impregnation agents, such as wax-based products.
